So I played in $20 180 person tourney today... I had a really good start, constantly chipping up with no major confrontations. The structure was good because I wasn't playing a turbo, which I have been doing in the past. Eventually, I started picking up good hands in great situations.
The first major double up was my AA vs AK on a King high flop. After that, it seemed like everytime I had AK, AQ pushed preflop and it always held. Kevin was railing me the whole time, and I said to him how it seems like I won every single 80/20, 60/40 allins. Things were definitely rolling as I grinded my way up to the chip lead and held it all the way until the final table.
I was in great shape to take the whole final table to domination when this hand came up. I was so pissed because I would have been dominant chip leader. Never losing a coinflip though finally caught up to me.

The check on that flop was a beauty!
Anyway, eventually we ended up 4 handed and I think I misplayed a hand with KQ vs 55 on a board of J10844. I bet $8000 on the river and he called. WTF!
That was pretty much it and I ended up in a very disappointing 4th for a cash of $288 and first place was $1050. Even getting 3rd would have got me $428.
Now I will proceed to kill myself.
